Interfaith Caregivers' Pet Mascot

We have a Winner!

Interfaith Caregivers has their first official mascot. Meet Billie D. Billie is a sweet rescue from the AWA in Voorhees, NJ. She and her owner met because her now-owner was one of the volunteers who walked Billie at AWA. She is 7 years old, her breed is somewhat unknown since she was rescued from a kill shelter in South Carolina and brought to the Animal Welfare Association. Darlene thinks Billie is a mix of Fox Terrier and Whippet, given her fierce rabbit hunting skills and supersonic running speed.Billie's two favorite things are giving kisses and getting her belly rubbed. If Billie is being walked and sees someone she wants to greet she stands on her hind legs and puts her front legs out as if asking for a hug.

Thank you to all of the wonderful pets who were nominated and thank you to all who voted.. We are excited to see what Billie gets up to in the coming year.
